Having a deceptively beautiful look of a white tea, Farmer’s Green is a rare, micro-lot loose leaf Green Tea from the Himalayas.  With a mellow, nuanced taste of buttery sweet, floral overtones this is a precious tea with a distinct and refined production process that captures the essence of the topmost leaf and terminal buds from the Jasbrie Tea Village.
 
The Brew Ha-Ha:
 
Green Tea comes from the unoxidized leaves of the Camellia Sinensis bush that are harvested during the early Spring.  It is one of the least processed types of tea, containing the most antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols, that positively affects digestion, weight loss, liver and heart health, mental and cognitive acuity, as well as enhance skin care, anti-inflammation, and longevity.  It is known to have anti-cancer agents and help against type 2 diabetes.  It can be steamed, ground, or pan-fried to achieve certain flavor profiles, and is simply wonderful whether served as a hot or cold beverage.
