Da Hung Pao is a rare and special tea, taking hundreds of years to cultivate.  Legend tells that the tea was so beloved by a Chinese Emperor, after curing his mother of a mysterious illness, that he gifted the base of the tea bushes to be draped in luxurious red robes to protect them.

Producing a golden amber cup, with a unique orchid aroma, this Emperor of Teas unveils notes of smooth chocolaty caramel with a nutty floral sweetness and a long, satisfying aftertaste.  A complex tea, deep and rich, that one can steep multiple times to awaken its inner beauty with each successive, and delicious, cup.

The Brew Ha-Ha:

Oolong Tea is one of the most restorative and healthy teas to drink.  It improves brain function, prevents cancer, increases bone density, stabilizes mood, and is good for the heart.  Delicious to drink, the leaves for the various Oolong Teas are carefully and meticulously cultivated for their exact wilt, curl, oxidation, withering, rolling, and flavor.  Often considered a dark green tea, Oolong is in a class all on its own, with a wide array of tastes.
