The Green and White Teas used in this innovative Kenyan Matcha are grown at high altitudes, under the bright sun, so it is packed full of antioxidants, polyphenols, and delivers an exceptionally crips flavor.  Only the youngest leaves are plucked and milled, resulting in a thick cup with a wonderfully rich and warm taste of mossy grasslands and the floral undernotes of a fine Oolong.

Matcha is a high-grade shade-grown green tea ground into fine, silky powder.  This powdered tea is whisked into hot water, instead of steeped, to form a frothy, delectable drink with no waste particulates.  The meditative act of preparing, presenting, and sipping Matcha is the backbone of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.  Another form of Matcha has been specifically graded for culinary use and is perfect in baked deserts, fine cuisine dishes; used in smoothies, ice creams, salads, and other fantastic culinary delights
 
Usually with a bright green color in the cup, Matcha is high in antioxidants, rich in vitamins and fiber; has cancer protecting agents, promotes dental and heart health, reduces inflammation, and supports bone and brain health.  It is best prepared with a specialized whisk and ladle.
