The French term for a pomegranate is "grenade". Yet the mystical fruit is said to born from the blood of Adonis, and that Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty, love, and fertility, planted the first pomegranate tree on the island of Cyprus.  Pomegranates have long been revered throughout the world and considered a symbol of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, as well as, a fruit of sensual pleasure.  When this delicious, sacred fruit is mixed with the leaves of a premium White Bai Mu Dan it creates, not just a succulent cup of tea, it unleashes an explosion of flavor with mythical proportions.  Full bodied, this savory tea is stunningly fragrant; sweet, floral, and phenomenally silky. A singular treat and experience.  Truly one of our best blends.

The Brew Ha-Ha:

White Tea is comprised of new, young tea leaves and buds from the Camellia Sinensis plant that are only harvested a few short weeks each Spring.  Originally grown in China, White Tea production has expanded in recent years to other tea growing countries, such as India, Nepal, & Africa. Consisting of two main styles, Bai Mu Dan, also known as White Peony, and Bai Hao Yin Zhen, more commonly known as Silver Needles, White Tea is labor intensive, handpicked; allowed minimal oxidization and drying in the sun, called Withering, and is appreciated for its delicate flavor and wonderfully soft, sweet, succulent cup.  The closest tea to the bush, White Tea is packed with antioxidants and other health affirming benefits.
