This exquisite White Tea is delicately hand rolled into tiny, individual balls that beautifully unfurl and expand when steeped.  Producing the leaves of this high-quality tea follows strict harvesting standards, where only two leaves are picked from every bud.  The result of this careful process results in a fine, flowery bloom with a mild color and delicious flavor with gentle fruity notes.

The Brew Ha-Ha:

White Tea is comprised of new, young tea leaves and buds from the Camellia Sinensis plant that are only harvested a few short weeks each Spring.  Originally grown in China, White Tea production has expanded in recent years to other tea growing countries, such as India, Nepal, & Africa. Consisting of two main styles, Bai Mu Dan, also known as White Peony, and Bai Hao Yin Zhen, more commonly known as Silver Needles, White Tea is labor intensive, handpicked; allowed minimal oxidization and drying in the sun, called Withering, and is appreciated for its delicate flavor and wonderfully soft, sweet, succulent cup.  The closest tea to the bush, White Tea is packed with antioxidants and other health affirming benefits.

Available: In eco-friendly rice-paper bags or our Special Edition Collector Tea Tins. Each Tin comes with 2.5 ounces of our delicious tea. The label features original art.
